The Next Festival
Where: Pago Pago, American Samoa
When: 2008. Each sponsoring country sets its own
date for the festival. Check the website www.festival-pacific-arts.org for
details.
What: The Festival of Pacific Arts runs for ten
days. The opening ceremony and the welcoming of the traditional canoes are
held on Day 1. Days 2-10 are filled with programs and activities showcasing
the culture and arts of all Pacific Island countries. The closing ceremony
is on the evening of the 10th day.
