After the tour, Gunter checked out of Quepos at the Capitania, while I shopped for souvenirs. Quepos is a well-developed tourist town, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and stores.  We even found an Italian deli where we had helado, a gelatin ice cream,  for our afternoon dessert, and purchased fresh baguettes, salami, and jamon.

We reached the dock about 4:30 PM, just as the fishing fleet was returning.  The vast amounts of dorado unloaded from only one boat made us wonder how the sea can continue to support such bounty.  But at night, anchored out in the harbor, the fish kept jumping.  There appear to be plenty of fish in the sea, at least for these parts.

Weighing the catch.

Handing dorado up to the truck.
